Today I sat down and did a video for you. I am sharing my current projects both finished and unfinished. I recommend a couple of new books and talk about other general knitting things. I apologize for the shaking camera at some points in the video. I'll do better next time, I promise.

Another fun sale that's going on through Craftsy right now is that this weekend, starting tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 15th, and lasting 48 hours you can get up to 65% off of fabrics and up to 85% off yarns! That's a good deal. I have ordered lots of yarn through Craftsy and it has been wonderful.
Click here to see the deals starting on Fri., Nov. 15th!
One last thing is that I did a little reversible toy that is now a free pattern for Knit & Crochet Now! which is a PBS show. I haven't seen the episode yet and I think you have to login to get the pattern. The lovely Candi Jensen, the producer of the show, asked me if I would design a reversible toy to be featured in a segment for the show. The Elephant and Mouse is adorable and quick and a great use of leftovers. I will talk more about it very soon on the blog.

Have a great Friday and I'll be back soon with more!

So fun to see/hear you chatting! I don't watch many video podcasts- they take too long for my ADD-like schedule--but this is lmost as good as hangng out wit you in person.....nah.not really. But still, fun.
So enjoyed your video! Your classes must be a lot of fun - maybe some day I will be able to take one. Loved the hats and am thinking of getting the book Adventures in Yarn Farming... as a Christmas present for my daughter!
What a great visit with you this afternoon! Thanks for the update.
Ruth
This was fun to watch!
Pompom suggestion: my son knit a hat when he was 6 (really! and truly! and he's only 7 now, still wears it). Of course he wanted a pompom, but he chose a non-washable yarn for it, so I just left a couple of long strings so I could tie it into the top of his hat, then remove it if the hat ever needed washing. You could make a removable pompon for Snawheid and thus keep your options open! Just an idea.
I really enjoyed the video podcast format. I enjoy your writing , too. Hmmm, i guess you don't have time for both. Have a great weekend!
Susan, the best video yet!! Loved seeing and hearing everything! Such fun to see the newest hat, going to find my fingering yarn now!!
How fun to see your latest projects in action! Thanks for taking the time to make a video for us. Loved it!
Love the hats - I want to run to my craft room and cast on a hat right now! :)
Good to see and hear you. Your peerie flooers is perfect.
As an aside: Heid means head and Snaw as in snow, so Snow Head is the name. It is Shetland dialect but we use heid a lot across the pond too.
Peerie Flooers is little flowers.
Totally agree with Gale - like sitting with you and chatting. XO
Thanks a bunch, I will look forward to seeing these.

I loved this "podcast"! I hope we get more videos like this in the future :)
This totally made my morning. It felt just as though you were sitting across the table from me, having a little chat. Sure would love to have you back in Kentucky for a real visit soon!
Great! I hope you'll be doing more of those "podcasts"... and that you'll find a way to put them on iTunes.
I enjoyed the video podcast Susan. I hope you make more of them, time permitting!
For your magic cake of leftover yarn, did you splice all the yarn ends together?
Awesome video Susan ... thanks so much for sharing, it was wonderful to see you and hear you :)
I'm already in love with this book -- I favorited that cardigan the other day on Ravelry. The patterns are all so gorgeous. Thank you, Susan, for another lovely giveaway!
