Who Wants to Knit a Giraffe?

Hi Knitters,
I've been wanting to do this forever and now that I am home for a good stretch, I am. I have enough brand new, untouched yarn sitting in my studio for someone to make another Giraffe from Itty-Bitty Toys. It's the same yarn I used to knit the original Giraffe. The Giraffe calls for two skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash in Daffodil. Got it. Plus you need one skein of Orange in the same. Check. It's all here and ready to go.

I have no plans to knit another Giraffe anytime soon so I want you to take it off my hands!
You all know the drill. Leave me a comment. Say hello or whatever you'd like (within reason, of course:). I will randomly select a winner in a day or two or a few days, I don't know exactly when. I'll see how it goes. Please leave some identifying something like your name, location, anything you feel comfortable with. Only enter once, please. After I select a winner I will post the winning comment. The winner will have a few days to send me their mailing address through my email (on the sidebar). If I don't hear anything I will pick a new winner at that time.
Have fun! Let's make this one fast and furious.

I may even play a little Secret Santa and sweeten the pot with some added prizes!!! You never know what you might get. I've got stuff, Knitters, good stuff. And I like to give it away.

fyi: One thing that won't be included in the surprise pot is a copy of Itty-Bitty Toys since I only have one copy in my possession at this point. I have given away every copy I had, which was maybe 15-20 copies, can't remember exactly. I need to get some more books for sure but right now I need to hang onto the only copy I have.

Okay, Knitters, go for it!
best, susie

I do! While I was making my Christmas list last night I showed my husband some of your patterns. I wanted to make sure the cupcake hat was in Itty Bitty Nursery before I put it on my list. My husband saw all the toys patterns and suggested I put Itty Bitty Toys on the list too because they all were so cute. =)
P.S. I received Itty Bitty Hats two years ago for Christmas and everyone loves the hats I've made from it.
P.P.S. I'm sarahdluck on ravelry.

Oh dear, Susan - you already have 360 comments to read through. I feel bad about making you read even more! I live in Switzerland and have loved following you on your book tour. You made the places, shops, people - and your beautiful animals - come alive in such an appealing way. Reading your blog is more than just a knitting experience. Keep up the good work!

Oh no, this is going to be just like Itty Bitty Hats. I'll start with the giraffe and end up having to make every single one of these adorable toys! I'm excited and terrified about winning all at the same time. Must find friends who need knitted toys....

That giraffe reminds me so much of a felt one my great-grandmother made for me when I was a baby. That guy (with some sort of stick in his neck to keep his head from flopping over, still resides in my Rubbermaid container of childhood memorabilia.

Hi Susan~ I love knitting your toys and although I don't always follow the color pattern it would be great to do just that for this little guy. My niece and Nephew turn 1 early Jan and it would definatly be for them :) I have elephante in my living room (I'm a huge elephant fan) and I've made them some hats. Always looking for fun little projects for them. Keep up the great work I enjoy hearing about your adventures! ~Chef Abbie Centenennial CO

Susan - As one of your many followers, I so enjoy your designs and blogs. I have the Itty-Bitty Nursery and Itty-Bitty books and am hoping Santa will deliver your newest book for Christmas. I have been instructed not to buy it - ( I want it Now), so things are looking good that it will be under the tree. The Giraffe is one of my favorites in your book,so without a doubt I would love to win this offer. How do you do all the things you do with four children?
