The IBK Retreat after class at the University Club
I forgot to mention that at the retreat 34 hats were collected for donation to Halos of Hope! Thanks to Pat, plynn on Ravelry, for collecting and delivering the hats for the group. There is a thread in the Itty-Bitty Knits group for a monthly charity hosted by a member. There are always lots of charity knitting opportunities going on in the group if you are interested.

I had my 4th back surgery last Tuesday. Knitting is one of the few things I can now
do once I stopped taking pain meds. Just listening to your latest podcast made me feel better. It's amazing that when I am knitting or drawing I don't notice pain. Thanks for that.

The Madison get-together sounds like so much fun! I visited once when my daughter was looking at the University and loved it (of course, it was not winter!). I can only imagine that the combination of Madison, an enthusiastic group of knitters, and you made for a fabulous weekend.

I love Madison, too! When driving cross country two years ago, Madison was the town I wanted to make time to visit. I ended up getting the opportunity to fly in a small plane over the town... Beautiful! Love the sweater and hearing about your experiences at the retreat.
