I have several skeins of Opal in my stash...specifically the Harry Potter Opal yarns (all of them, and a couple of extras of some of them). I imagine that they'll become socks someday. I have to find a recipe I like for socks that isn't too fiddly (I think I may have found one).
I, too, love Opal yarn. HOWEVER, all I can think about is the Haunted Vineyard. I must have some of that. I will be starting my 3 fairies with their fairy bags tomorrow. Can't wait. Just finished the Christmas Set from "itty bitty toys". Love the set. My camera needs a battery, used my cell phone, they didn't photograph well. WOW!!!! I am babbling.
I love Opal sock yarn and even though I have tried a couple of other brands,I think Opal is the better yarn.I have used Opal for almost all my handknitted socks and have found that it washes very well.

I love it :)
that's gorgeous!
I have heard so many good words about this yarn.
It seems like the perfect thing to knit right now. Straight stockinette with such a pretty result

Very nice!
I love Opal, too. That's a gorgeous colorway/pattern that you have on that sock!
