Hi Knitters,I am working on a new toy project design/pattern scheduled for June 2011 release (the location of where the pattern will be available is secret right now) using Spud & Chloë Sweater in the following colors, Firefly, Chipmunk, Firecracker, Rootbeer and Splash. Oh, and there's a little bit of Ice Cream, too, but it's not in the photo.
Any guesses what it will be?

I know there are swimmers in your family - unfortunately the colors don't scream fish so I am going to guess a Horse to add to the "farm"

How about a bird? This is a toughie to guess. But you are a toy genius and can't wait to see what you come up with in June.

I think I know WHERE the toy will be featured, but it's just an assumption, ha,ha. Now, I'm thinking perhaps a penguin.

All of the yarn colors are on your S & C at the farm book except brown & black? a Racooon or chipmunk/a bear!
Perhaps something with stripes? Or maybe a colorful bird?
Love one of the other poster's idea about a kangaroo and joey (that would be too cute!)
Perhaps a reversible toy or some kind of transportation? I'd love to see a truck or airplane or boat. :)
All I know is those colors are scrumptious together!
Hmm . . . I'm seeing a big, fat, lazy-summer bumblebee with a blue sweater & reddish trousers . . . but that's a bit far-fetched, I suppose. It's probably a farmer with blue overalls & red hair like Chloe's. :)
Judging from the colors, I would guess perhaps a tropical bird of some sort. Maybe??
My guess is a rooster. No farm is complete without one! His name could be "Crow"!

Those beautiful colors look like a Rooster, to me. It could also be a wonderful Tom Turkey. Can't wait to see the finished project.

How about a toucan? Those bright colors in firecracker and splash and firefly for the beak? Chipmunk and root beer for the body...so many choices! Can't wait to see what you come up with
Gorgeous colours! I'm guessing it's going to be a Red Robin with her nest full of Robin's Egg blue eggs. Any way you look at it, it's going to be fabulous whatever you decide! Love you, Susan!

I'm thinking a nest with eggs and a mother Robin with a gigantic yellow beak? :D (that's a lot of yellow yarn!!)
All of the other "Comment" suggestions are wonderful - I think any of those would be a great idea. If anyone can make a fabulous new toy, it would be you! I absolutely love the name of those yarn colors - Chipmunk? root beer? FANTASTIC!!!!!
I'm not sure we can wait until June however - how about another hint????
I know a few other people have made this guess, but I think my guess might be a bit more specific. I also see a butterfly, but a reversible butterfly that starts as a cocoon. Another reversible toy would be so cool.
It brings two things to mind.
A farm play mat complete with fields, streams, flowers, roadways, etc...
A rooster

Someone guessed Chloe's brother and I'm hoping that one too. I would like to make the farm for my grandson and somehow I don't think he's going to want a "girl" running the show. Not that I couldn't make Chloe into a boy...but somehow it just doesn't seem right. lol

I am with a few other guessers and say a robin with a nest full of bright blue eggs. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
