Come Knit With Me!

Hi Knitters,
I have a new book coming out soon called, Spud & Chloë at the Farm! I am really proud and excited about this one. I think it has some of the best toys I have ever designed. It is a knitting book with a fun cartoon story as an added bonus. The book contains 13 fun and fresh farm-y projects and it is a steal!

The main reason I am bringing this up right now is that I am hosting a knitting circle with fun tips and tricks included while we knit a mouse or maybe even mice from my new book. The book doesn't even come out until April 21rst but I am bringing a preview pattern (for the mice) for you, a fun book preview brochure for you to take home (not usually available to the public), and the galleys from the book for you to check out! Plus, you can pre-order a signed book if you are in the class. I will sign it for you when the book comes into the shop and before you pick it up or have it sent.

This is an exclusive class offering! At this time I don't have any further plans to teach or host anything like this on my calendar. I would absolutely love it if you would join me! I may even try to bring some extra goodies to share from Spud & Chloë (I am pretty sure I can swing that:).

Here is my official invite to my knitting circle/class/workshop:
Where: Stitcher's Crossing
6122 Mineral Point Road
Madison, WI 53717

When: Sunday, February 27th, 2011
Time: 12-2:00pm

Phone: 608 232 1500
Email: info@stitcherscrossing.com

Oh, and be sure to bring your Itty-Bitty books or purchase them at the shop if you'd like me to sign those as well.

Call or email or stop in the shop to sign up and save a spot and to get a supply list. I know some knitters are already signed up so call soon!! The class is only a couple weeks away so there isn't much time.

I hope to see you there. Stay tuned for lots more previews from Spud & Chloë at the Farm, too.
best, susie

I WISH! If only I could beam up over there...sigh. Your participants are so lucky to knit w/you Susan.
That is the only kind of mouse I would allow in my place. Your little mouse is too cute!

I'm sure it's going to be so so fun! That's one of the reasons I want to move to the US - so I can meet you at knitting events. I love all the yarns available in the States, too of course.

For those of us who can't make it to Madison, will you be having any kind of knit-along online? I can't wait for the book to come out.

I will join with crowd and say I wish I lived closer. Sounds like a lot of fun. I have completely fallen head over heals for Spud and Chloe. I am inspired every time I handle the yarn.

Too far to go, but I'd be there if I could. The mouse is adorable. I must make some for my knitting group that meets in an old house on a farm where we have met a mouse or two.

I wanna go to Madison too! Too many of us live way too far to join you for knitting up a mouse and we are so sad!! I think you probably get the idea that many, many, many of us would love to come. Any chance of an on-line tutorial? or something like that?

My book is pre-ordered too. Can't wait!!

Ohhh...I'd love to knit with you! I live in Colorado, though, a bit too far to commute! Maybe you'd consider doing something like this online?

Sadly NYC to Madison is a bit of a trek, but it sounds like a wonderful opportunity. That mouse is adorable.

Why, oh why, didn't I know about you when I lived in Madison?? For all the time I spent at Stitcher's Crossing, I should have set up a cot for myself in the corner! :)

The knitting circle sounds great. I will be there in spirit. :)

Oh Sigh! I live in New Hampshire. I'd love to come to this class but cannot. Would you think of doing some type of a knit a long? I am new to knitting toys and am feeling a bit scared. I have two of your books and plan to order your new one. A knit a long would be wonderful.
Thanks for considering it!

(sigh..) I wish Tennessee was closer to Wisconsin! That mouse has the sweetest face...well I'll just have to add this book to my collection!

I have to get the book. And it's good knowing that I can use my leftover yarn for the toys. I'll have plenty leftover yarn after I finish my Dream Catcher Blanket, and I have some Watermelon from my sweater, too.
