Hi Knitters,I haven't had too much time to spin lately but here's a little bit of progress being made. The ribbed scarf is from some Frabjous Fibers roving I spun up recently. I used every last inch. It is bright and fun.
It is a good feeling to use up your every last bit of yarn. It makes you feel accomplished or maybe complete is the better word. I think this colorway is called Enchanted.
This is a bobbin full of Springtree Road in the Uala colorway spun up and waiting to be plied with some more Springtree Road in a different colorway.
I had enough of the Patina Frabjous Fibers yarn left to make another quick hat.
I fell in love with the purl side so I turned the hat inside out. The wrong side became the right side.
Again, I used every last inch of the yarn when I made the pom-pom for the top.
Fits like a charm.

Cool spinning! The mish mash of colors make the hat look so fun as do in the scarf. It must feel good to create from almost the very beginning. All you need to do now is visit the farm where you get your roving and help shear the sheep ;o).
I love the trends in fabrics link--neat to "know" what's coming. My girls LOVE animal trends and themes. Zebra is waning in our house but still there. Love your "purl-side" hat!!! Your spinning is really looking professional, if that is the correct word. Cheers. Nicky Momoffour

I love when you have cool links. I am knitting on a "Vintage Baby Cardigan" using Sunshine Sock yarn. Should finish it up today. You are right, it is beautiful stuff.
Also, I live somewhat near Churchmouse (okay, a ferry ride away), and have one of those patterns in the group they show. It is the welted fingerless mitts and it is indeed a lovely pattern. I've made it twice using Manos Silk blend.

I just checked out the embroidered gnomes on the kitchen towels. So cute! I am getting some adorable gnome toddler dishes for my girls, so I am contemplating purchasing this pattern-- but my embroidery is horrible!
I love Sunshine Yarns, the colors are lovely and yarn quality excellent. Prices are reasonable. Try it you'll like it...
