Hi Knitters,Get it? Au pair, oh pair! I'm on a roll. These socks have been languishing in an almost finished state for quite some time now. Finally, I sat down and forced myself to knit one last 12 round repeat and then finish the toe. The yarn is the always wonderful yarntini in pumpkin spice.
My exclusive model has smaller feet than the socks are sized for, which would be my size 7 1/2's. They are a bit baggy on her petite feet, they fit me just right. My feet used to be a perfect size 7 up until I had my fourth child. Then my poor feet couldn't take it any more and had to go up a half size. It was worth it!
This is a fun, easy pattern and it works well with the self-striping sock yarns. I may even do this one again for some easy repeat knitting.Have a good Thursday, Knitters.

I love them! I have lots of self-striping yarn. Better check out that pattern.
Super, super cute! They remind me of autumn -- pumpkin patches, fall leaves, all that good stuff.

Oh my god susan i am in love with them. I am in love with all the socks especially these and the tequise colour ones. You do right posting for all to see you deserve to be very proude of these.

I spoke too soon on your last post, about my not needing winter socks anymore--we got 5" of snow today! It's an all-time record for my 10 years in Texas. Now my feet are freezing :) But as soon as I cast on, it'll be 75 degrees again!!
And I envy your 1/2 size increase--mine went up 1 1/2 sizes, from first child to third! Whenever I wonder if I should have a fourth, I imagine myself in size 10s. :)
