  151. Hi Susan!
Plesae enter me to win either the book or the sampler of yarns (yummy!). I've 'rediscovered' knitting this year and after finding your blog and podcasts I've been inspired to complete my 1st sock. Now all I have to do is to make it's mate. Thanks for sharing your love of this craft, it truly comes through in your writing and podcasts.

  152. the bamboo basket thing is a steamer. you put vegetables or dumplings into the basket cover withe top and set it over a put of boiling water to steam the food.
ok so onto the drawing…..oh those yarns are so beautiful. And the book is perfect because i love to change things up from the pattern or create my own stuff. that's why i learned to knit in the first place.
btw i love the the dolls r knit in one piece

  160. The book would be wonderful since I don't have any knitting books yet! (This the life of a beginning knitter.)

But then the yarn is so pretty.

Well, put me down for either!

You really should do a Christmas list of desirable knitting things. You pick the cutest bags, best yarns, books, etc. A list curated by you would be a real help this year.

    Have a great day.
