Sprout Hat Topper Tutorial

Hi Knitters,
I have another clip for you on the sprout hat topper from Itty-Bitty Hats. I've had a few questions about this one along the way and thought it would be a good and quick video tutorial.
Enjoy!
best, susie

  1. You make everything look so easy :-) I think it's much harder to explain stuff like that in writing, so being able to see a tutorial is great. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

  8. I am enjoying the video instructions VERY much. Is it possible to do one on the Marley hat toppers? I can make them but the roll up part really confuses me.

    Thanks,

  10. Just finished making the marley hat. I watched your video on the topper. Very clear about how to roll and attach. HOWEVER, I am having trouble making the curly strips. The first one is fine, but the ones made from the backward loop look terrible, they leave long strings in between and they take a very long time to do. If I have to make 40 at this rate the child will outgrow the hat before she wears and it and she isn't born yet. Please advise or do a video just on making the strips.l

  11. Diane,
It sounds like you may need to try another type of cast on. There is a knit on or cable cast on that might work better for you.

If you google either of these you will find lots of tutorials on the web to help.
