    Hello Susan,

I really enjoy watching your videos. You Inspire me to want to really learn to make socks. I have a vacation coming up and some knitting projects that I will be finishing and beginning. One of the projects that I will be starting as a beginner is making socks. I have battled with learning how to make socks. I purchased your crafsty video with hopes that on my vacation I can start and possible actually finish a sock. Thank you for sharing you projects.

    Hi Susan

Your blog inspired me to start knitting socks late last year after 25 years of knitting everything but socks. I actually learned to knit after taking lessons at the yarn store that used to be on State St while attending UW. Now I am obsessed with knitting socks and only socks! Your instructions took the intimidation factor away for me. I would really love the bag to carry my current project with me on the weekends when I travel with daughter to Irish dance competitions.

Also I am very interested in the MAKING magazine. I am going to check out the local book store to see if they carry it or I will purchase it from the website. Thanks for sharing that with us.
The sock knit along sounds like fun. Maybe it could take place in your Ravelry group. I just love the holiday season and love the names of the yarns.

  162. Hi Susan,

This is my first time watching your podcast and I will definitely go back and watch the previous videos. Well made project bags do make knitting projects more enjoyable. I also believe that Christmas sock knitting during summer is a great idea, especially because Christmas time can be hectic with Christmas parties and last minute gift knitting. I hope you have a wonderful day!

  175. The Christmas sock project sounds like a lot of fun and you have some really great Christmassy yarns. I love Shop Louleigh but every time I go to order something, her shop is about empty - could be because I remember when you mention her on your blog or podcast and she sells out quickly when that happens. I would love to win the tote - it looks lovely! Teresaknits
