Wordless Crazy Hair Day Tutorial

Hi Knitters,
TC has crazy hair day at school. This is what we came up with!




There you have it!

The blue ice art piece from the last post is in Family Fun magazine. It may be on their site. I got a lot of questions about how to make one. TC made it at Girl Scouts so I don't have much more information than that for you. It was frozen in a tin pie plate with a cup set in for the center hole. There were colored ice cubes set in. That's all I know. It is still a beautiful sight hanging on our tree.

    T.C.'s "crazy hair" is awesome. So much can be done with those plastic red cups and tape. They have been the essentials for many a costume, at this house. I spy a table with a very interesting project and some gorgeous green yarn, no? Can you tell what might be going on?

    Dear Susan:
    I really do have to complain. Your Heart on a String Hat needs a warning label: "Seriously addictive - take precautions!"

    Apparently it is I treacherous to combine knitting on your hat pattern with watching the Olympics. Including the Heart on a String Hat I'm now 8 glorious hats into a serious problem! I can't stop! I'm blaming it ALL on you! Now I know why you ended up publishing an entire book of hats and still create more hat patterns. Is there help for us?

    I caaaan't stop! And I feel number nine coming up any minute....
