Apple Hat Free For You!

Hi Knitters,
How is everyone? It feels so good to be here today. I have another free pattern out today and it is the perfect match for the Apple Washcloth. The Apple Hat!!! Think of the yummy little sets you could make. Plus, both patterns are free. It's a great fall duo for the deliciously sweet babies in your life.
You can find all of the details and downloadable pdf pattern right on Spud says.... Hop on over and check it all out. I now have 9 free patterns available over there.
The top has a different decrease sequence that I am excited about. It is very simple and clean looking. Let me know if you like this decrease better than the usual sequence that I have used in the past. It has a different look for sure.

I have a few more fun links for you to check out:
I got Quilting for Peace for my birthday last week! Love it!
I love this clever baby hat, the Aviatrix hat. It's a free pattern.
I just discovered Brett Bara's blog, The Manhattan Craft Room. It's cool.

Have a great weekend, Knitters. I'll be back next with a good look at Itty-Bitty Toys. Surprisingly, it was released about a month early and is now available for purchase. The fun thing is that the book was released on my birthday. What a gift!
best, susie

  7. Susan, I got my copy yesterday and was SO excited!! I ordered it back in May, so I was surprised when it got here early--I didn't expect it until November. The patterns are so much fun just to look at, and I've already got a list working for Christmas gifts! It's superb; you should be so proud!!

  9. Thanks for the pattern! Do you have any recommendations for a chin strap? My little one refuses to keep her hats on and I don't want the hat to be lost to her whims. I was thinking even just a ribbon sewn on.
