Please tell me what needlework that is? So adorable! I don't know if I need to find my glasses but it almost looks like hooking, but I just haven't seen that kind of work before. I love it, want to eat it!
Sarah, It is punch needle, my very first attempt. The Collector and I ran to Joann's yesterday to pick up a few things and we found two really sweet little kits. I am getting the hang of it, slowly: )
Happy Valentines Day to you too. It's funny how things come around again. I can remember doing punchneedle work back in the 40's & 50's!!! Your heart is beautiful
So sweet! Is this the same as Igolochkoy...? I tried this years and years ago and was not too successful. Somewhere over the years I lost my little needle puncher! I have been meaning to tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog. I love to see what you are up to and what your lovely children are doing too. Your true spirit of generosity and kindness shines through in all of your posts. Thank you.
They have punch needle kits at a needlepoint store in Plano, Susan, and I have been enticed for ages. Now I think you may have given me that incentive to visit tomorrow. I love yours. You can just do anything -- and do it spectacularly well.
Adorable and heartwarming, as always.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the nudge.
I would love some Cotton Chenille! On your recommendation, I ordered some and it's just wonderful to work with, even though it is pricy:)
