Hi Knitters,
On tour I met several knitters who were worried about the crocheted picot edging I used in Itty-Bitty Nursery on a couple of projects. There is nothing to worry about because it is so simple! Hopefully this tutorial will help to show how easy it really is.
Enjoy.
best, susie
I love these tutorials!
ReplyDeleteI was drawn to your first book a year ago, mainly because I always called my daugher (who is now 5!) "itty bitty!" I love your designs and find your patterns so well written and easy to follow. I just got your second book in the mail yesterday and am starting the tea set for my bitties for a Christmas gift. thanks for the inspiration! my blog is ittybittyknits.blogspot.com

I bought itty bitty nursery after my daughter was born and I just completed the Flower Cardian from it. I'm trying to decide on my next project. I'm trying out some of the blocks on Baby's Texture Blanket and can't find the instructions in the book for the grape smocking square. It says k3, smocking stitch. How do I do the smocking stitch? I can't find the instructions for smocking stitch. Am I over looking them? Please help.

The instructions for the smocking stitch were left out of the book. Look under Corrections for Itty-Bitty Nursery on the sidebar of my blog and you will find the smocking stitch and other corrections there.
