Don't know when I'll be back again.
Hi Knitters,
Just kidding. I am heading off on a short holiday with my family tomorrow. We are heading out for some end of summer fun.
Have a good knitting week and I'll be back before you know it.
best,
susie
p.s. Does anyone even remember that song?
Of course, John Denver right? For some reason I can probably sing all the lyrics!
ReplyDeleteHave a great and safe trip!
Jill
Have a nice time!
ReplyDeleteThe song, oh yeah, I know it. And now it will be looping through my head for the rest of the evening:)
BTW, how awful J.Denver wrote that, not knowing his eventually fate. Kind of creepy.
Anyhow, look forward to catching up when you get back!
Oh yeah baby - remember the song:) Enjoy your travels with your munchkins - a nice school-is-around-the-corner adventure! I'd like to eat one of those yummy looking cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteI like that song!!!! And those cupcakes are DARLING!
ReplyDeletefrom the Armageddon soundtrack with liv tyler and bruce willis. LOVE THAT SONG!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous vacation!
Have a great vacation! And yes I remember the song, I like Jewels version best =p
ReplyDeleteI love your cupcakes! Have a great holiday!!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteDoes it mean I'm old if I say I know that song? ;-)
Love the cupcakes, are they in your new book? I saw your Itty Bitty Hats book in Barnes and Noble today, it's the first time I've seen 'inside' it. I didn't know if I would use it much because it only had hats in and I usually knit little sweaters for my 'baby gifts' but oooooh I SO want this book now. The hats are all adorable. I'm gonna order it on Amazon when I pre-order your new book ;-)
Hope you enjoy your weekend.
Since we are fortunate to be one of the stops on your upcoming tour, we received a preview copy of your new book. It is fantastic!! There were literally squeals of delight when staff members browsed through it.
ReplyDeleteWe look forward to seeing you in October.
Remeber it? I am surprised you haven't heard me shouting it from my car radio!
ReplyDeleteWhat is summer without that song?
I'm betting even young'uns remember that one - they put it in Armageddon, after all.
ReplyDeleteOf course, young'uns probably doesn't include my baby sister's age group (middle school)...
"don't know when I'll be back again. Oh, babe, I hate to go...."
ReplyDeleteYep, I remember.
Have a great trip!
Can you tell me where to find The Big Book of Family Knitting? I have searched everywhere!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I own a yarn store in Salt Lake City, just wondering if we could get you to do a book signing at our store when your new book comes out. We have sold Itty Bitty like crazy!!
Hi Suzette,
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't know where to get the Big Book of Family Knitting. I just happened upon a copy at my local BN. I would go online and search for it or go directly to the Simply Knitting website and ask them. Good luck!
Thanks for the good report on Itty-Bitty Hats. I would love to come to Salt Lake City. I have been there once before when I was in college and it is beautiful. You can contact my publicist at Artisan Books/Workman Publishing to make requests for a visit. Other than that I am not in charge of all that stuff. The publicist does all of the planning for me which is wonderful. I just go where she sends me. Good luck again!
best,
susie
