This is why I love making hats and other things for babies! Yesterday I went to my daughter's music concert and who was there but baby Sophie wearing the hat I gave her last week. I put it in a flower pot for delivery. She is about the cutest thing I have ever seen.
best, susie
Ooooh, how cute is that! She looks just gorgeous, as if the hat was made especially for her! (okay, that was a lame joke ;-))
ReplyDeleteI so would love to knit a hat from your book for my nephew (he turns 2 in November), but his mom - my sis - told me his future winter hat *must* match the colors of his winter jacket or else she wouldn't put the hat on his head, and that made me change my mind. Now I have to find other kids, with less fussy parents :-/
ADORABLE!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love your hat patterns!!!
ReplyDeletedarling hat! I have just started what seems to be my zillion'th hat form Itty Bitty - I can hardly wait for your next book!
ReplyDeleteIf possible, I would like to ask you a question about yarn stores in Madison. I have a newbie friend that needs some direction and help finding a good shop. Thank you!
P.S. It's Sarah - vesper girl.
Oh, that is just so cute! Don't you love it when people actually WEAR the presents you make them? I've made my mom socks, a hat, and two scarves... and I've never seen her in any of them.
ReplyDeleteGuess I know who NOT to knit for!!!
xoxoxo
