When I saw the bird pattern I wished for some way to let everyone who loved the pattern know that perhaps if they didn't feel up to knitting the whole thing they could knit a bird or two to join Cooper's Flock.

It is wonderful with all the traffic that your blog gets that you are helping to spread the word.

ps don't put me in the running for the yarn, I have my own ordered.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13812800024538708445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-6405045950642389372009-03-13T20:44:00.000-05:002009-03-13T20:44:00.000-05:00Everything happens for a reason.Everything happens for a reason.knittingknirvanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11383985032723786341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-59391142476989781652009-03-13T14:25:00.000-05:002009-03-13T14:25:00.000-05:00I had exactly the same thought yesterday when I sa...I had exactly the same thought yesterday when I saw the spring Knitty. I had read about Lucinda's story on Sunday after reading about it on the Fairy Godknitter blog. Then you posted about it, and then I saw those patterns on knitty. I don't think it's a coincidence. I emailed for the pattern earlier this week, and the package with the Blue Sky Alpacas cotton came in the mail today. I can't wait to get started on knitting some birds.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14416398895359948417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-12452869231710702642009-03-13T12:22:00.000-05:002009-03-13T12:22:00.000-05:00I thought it was incredible when I kept running in...I thought it was incredible when I kept running into knitted birds that day. I followed your link to Slip Slip Knit and love their bird pattern too. I have leftover Blue Sky from a hoodie I did for my granddaughter and started a purple birdie last night for Lucinda. I have three other colors leftover also so I'll be making those as well. Tough loss, great project to work through some of the grief, and wonderful pass-it-forward birdies!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-31969272336399400262009-03-13T11:52:00.000-05:002009-03-13T11:52:00.000-05:00what a sweet thing you are doing!
