The illustrations are great, with a lot to look at. Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs is another favorite, awesome texture in the pictures, and interesting layout.

My dad gave us picture books specifically chosen for us each year for Christmas until we were well into our 20's. I have two book designs due to the printer; fortunately, they're nearly finished. I have to get everything ready to go for tomorrow's trip to Connecticut Sheep & Wool Festival (not a vendor, but I'm dropping off fleeces at the processor's booth). Today is also bread baking day. I hope to move a peony to a new spot in the yard. Branches to rake up after yesterday's windstorms. Fencing to mend in the sheep pastures; they'll be turned out soon on the new fresh grass. Hopefully some handspinning tonight after the car is packed and before I drop from exhaustion!Diane H K in Greenfieldnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-87388648355930017122009-04-24T07:30:00.000-05:002009-04-24T07:30:00.000-05:00Yikes! This week I am playing with a vintage thread crochet pattern for a potholder. Tomorrow I'm going to the DFW Fiber Fest with some ladies from my knitting group (Quinn, my 15 month-old son is also coming along, he's wild for new yarn, I always let him buy some:). We are toying with our plans for the summer, trying to make it work to relocate from Dallas to Maine for the hot months. It is already 90 in Dallas!

Looking forward to your new book -
SarahSarah Dedmonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35689847.post-58399645924631532912009-04-23T15:29:00.000-05:002009-04-23T15:29:00.000-05:00Your cookies look fantastic.
