Now... Sure enough, that does not look like stockinette stitch. <br /><br />From what I can see it could be a rib or a broken rib stitch. If you k1, p1 on the first row make sure on the way back you knit in the purl sts and purl in the knit sts. When it says knit 1 stitch, knit 2 stitches tog. I was knitting 1 and knitting 2, knitting 1 and knitting 2, and so on til the end. I do remember reading your question about the Marly Topper and I remember writing a reply that somehow didn't get posted - it must not have posted or I didn't hit the post button. I suggested possibly knitting at a tighter gauge and then laying the topper out flat on a table top to kind of organize it before rolling and stitching together.<br /><br />I am so glad you figured out the how to get the topper to work on your own.
